So, I've had this for about a month and a half, and it has to be one of the best GBP's i've operated. It's hefty, but the weight assures quality. Cycling, feeding and all that good blowback stuff is crisp and solid. No stress cracks in the spring guide cap like on other 1911 GBPs. Accuracy is excellent, as the rear adjustable sight allows zeroing within a single 25-shot mag. Speaking of the mag, mine's been dropped by unwitting friends, but it's survived all those tumbles.
I say WE Tech did a good job on the Striker, and hope tthey keep it up.
PROS:
*Solid!
*Crisp blowback.
*Comes prelubed, a definite plus.
*High capacity magazine, means I don't need 3 or four mags for a Pistols match.
*Seriously, the thing is intimidating as hell!
CONS:
*The rail is just a tad off MIL-STD-1913, meaning not all lights will fit well. G&P stuff wiggles.
*Ambi thumb safety has a tendency to fall if not fitted properly.
*Intimidating, yes. WITHOUT the orange tip.
